K. Annamalai Acquires Land in Coimbatore for Dairy Farm Project

Former Tamil Nadu BJP president K. Annamalai has clarified that a piece of land acquired in Kalapatti, Coimbatore on July 12, 2025, is intended for the establishment of a dairy farm.

The land, registered in the name of his wife Akila Annamalai, was purchased using a combination of personal savings and a loan obtained under the Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP). The initiative supports self-employment projects, and the planned dairy farm falls under its scope.

Annamalai stated that the land acquisition is solely aimed at setting up a dairy farming operation, with financing structured to align with the program’s guidelines.
